Shibuya Go-Kart Prices

A Shibuya kart tour is priced per person, and on GetYourGuide the tours that start in Shibuya run from US$88 to US$104 for an hour (checked November 2026). Tokyo: Street Kart Experience in Shibuya, from Street Kart Shibuya in Maruyama-cho, is US$104 on most dates we read; on 27 November 2026 the one start on sale cost US$116.73. The cheapest hour named after Shibuya is BC support Co.,Ltd.’s, at US$57 for its 12:00 and 1:30 PM starts, and it starts in Nishi-Shinjuku.

What makes the price move

The date. On the Street Kart Experience in Shibuya there is one option, and the date sets the price. We read US$104.11 a person on 10 December 2026, 20 January and 17 February 2027; on 27 November 2026 only the 10:00 AM start was on sale, at US$116.73.

The start time. BC support Co.,Ltd. sells three options of the same hour. The 12:00 and 1:30 PM starts were US$56.79; the 10:30 AM, 3:00 and 4:00 PM starts and the evening starts at 6:00, 7:30 and 9:00 PM were US$85.18, on all four dates we read from 27 November 2026 to 17 February 2027. Its From price is the midday one.

The length. ShibuyaKart's From price is its 45-minute course. On 27 November 2026 the 1-hour course was US$94.65 and the 90-minute course US$113.58.

The party. Every driver pays. Two people paid exactly twice the one-person price on the dates we read for two, on both the Street Kart and the ShibuyaKart tours.

In yen, at the shops

The shops price in Japanese yen on their own websites, and those figures are not the GetYourGuide or Viator price. Street Kart’s Shibuya page gives JPY 20,000 a person as the regular price for its 1-hour course, with review prices from JPY 9,000 to 18,000 depending on the slot; the Annex’s regular price is also JPY 20,000. Monkey Adventure Kart’s home page lists its 60-minute Shibuya route at JPY 14,000. ShibuyaKart's site lists 45, 60 and 90 minutes at JPY 10,000, 15,000 and 18,000 (regular JPY 13,000, 20,000 and 23,000). All checked November 2026.

Both Maruyama-cho shops also sell on Viator, in dollars: the first shop from US$107 and the Annex from US$94 (checked November 2026). The operators set their prices in yen, so the dollar figures shift with the exchange rate.

What you pay on top

• Tips are not included on the Street Kart Experience in Shibuya.
• Video. An action camera, a memory card and a camera mount can be rented or bought on the day; the guide’s photos are included.
• Insurance. Both Street Kart’s and Akiba Kart’s websites put basic cover in the price, with a JPY 50,000 per-vehicle deductible for damage to the kart, billed after the tour, and an optional full-cover plan for an extra fee. A reviewer of the Street Kart Experience in Shibuya paid JPY 1,000 a person for insurance in September 2026. ShibuyaKart's tour leaves insurance for the kart out of the price.
• Getting there. The tours from Shinjuku and Shinagawa cost less on the card but start 3.4 to 5.4 km from the Scramble Crossing in a straight line; where Shibuya kart tours start has the addresses.

Which price to pay

If you want to start in Shibuya, from the Maruyama-cho shop 0.7 km from the crossing, pay the Street Kart price. If you are staying in Shinjuku and can make a midday start, BC support Co.,Ltd.’s hour costs a little over half as much. If you only want the crossing and do not mind starting in Shinagawa, ShibuyaKart's 45-minute course is the shortest.
